Cadets Club members presented Educational aids and onam gift as a part of the Karunya –Oru Kaithangu fund (This fund is for poor and weaker sections in our society ) to Sevesadanam members. Sevasadanam is for poor girls, located at Kanattukara, Thrissur. Cadets Club members expressed their memories in the school and college period especially in the NCC period.

This year the nation celebrated the 17thKargil victory Day on Tuesday, 26 July 2016 and also salutes the Kargil martyrs and the Indian defence to have given us this day of pride. Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thrissur and Cadets Club jointly organised KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS-2016 and commemorated the occasion by floral offering at Amar JawanJothi,Ayyanthole, Thrissur Kerala. The Kargil Vijay Diwas-2016 was inaugurated by Col.Shery Peter, Officer Commanding 23 (K)BN NCC Thrissur and the function was presided by Cadets Club President Shri.Antony.J.Kuttencherry.

The highlight of Get Closure to Know Environment and Protect EnvironmentCadets club organised one day Cadets trekking Camp on Sunday 28 February 2016 at Vazani forest area inThrissur District. The camp was inaugurated by Vazani Forest Range Ranger and Former NCC Cadet,Ranger Renjith.M.K and Cadets Club President shri Antony J Kuttencherry presided the function. Cadets Club organised ACHIEVERS’ DAY (Honouring Talented NCC Officers and NCC cadets in the National Level) on Tuesday 23 February 2016 at Thrissur Govt. Model Boys High School SeminarHall. The programme was inaugurated by Col.Sushil Kumar Tiwar, Officer commanding of 7(K) Girls BN NCC Thrissur and the Chief guest was Lt.Col Anup.R, Officer commanding of 1(K)SQN BN NCC Mannuthy. Club President Shri Antony J Kuttencherry presided the function. Felicitation speech was done by Smt Jayasree M.R, H.M GMBHS Thrissur. CADETS CLUB organised Camp Memories ( Incredible Nostalgic Journey & Sharing Experiences with NCC Cadets) on Saturday, 29th August 2015 with the support of 24 (K) BN NCC Thrissur in Combined Annual Training Camp at Sree Durgavilasam Higher Secondary School in Peramanglam, Thrissur. The Camp Memories was inaugurated by Hon. Eranamkulam NCC Group Commander, Commodore S R Sreedhar and Club president shri Antony J Kuttencherry presided the function .Camp commandant Major R S Srinivas was the chief guest. As a part of the Camp Memories a workshop conducted on ‘Vision of NCC & Bridging Youth empowerment’ to highlight the role of NCC in life, campus and also in society. The felicitations were done by Sub.Major Pradeep Kumar Rai and Chief officer Paulson C C. Cadets Club organised Kargil Vijay Diwas-2015 on 26 July 2015, Sunday at Amar Jawan Jothi, Ayyanthole, Thrissur on the day of 16th Kargil vijay operation victory day. The function was inaugurated by Cadets Club President Shri.Antony J Kuttencherry. Cadets Club conducted the Nurture and formation of the SAVE (Students Army for Vivid Environment) in different schools and colleges as a part of spreading the message of protect the environment and built up the healthy society among the people. By planting tree, the official inauguration of Nurture was inaugurated by Smt. A.C Jayalakshmi (Principal Govt. Model Boys Higher Secondary Thrissur)on 30-06-2015, Tuesday at Govt.Model HSS Thrissur. Cadets Club President Shri Antony J Kuttencherry presided the function. The Key note addressed by Shri. George K Jose (Central Kerala Coordinator, Green Community) on the topic “Protect Environment, Follow up healthy Good Food Habits and Built up Strong Society”. Cadets Club conducted the 15th year proclamation rally, highlights of Cadets Clubs’ fifteenth year of formation on 26-01-2015, Monday at Thrissur corporation conducted Republic Day Procession at Thrissur round. The 15th year proclamation rally conducted with the support of Musical Band troop.
